Skydio 2 Autonomous Sports Drone: Holy cow!

The Skydio 2 is in theory the most advanced sports tracking drone on the market - surpassing the company’s first drone - the Skydio R1. This new unit boasts 4K/60 HDR recording (that actually looks the part), 7 concurrent 4K cameras on it, as well as a 23 minute battery life. Atop all that there’s the new GPS-assisted Beacon for tracking in trees, a controller, and a smaller form factor. But most important? Does it actually track well? And what are the gotchyas? For that I head out to test from road cycling to mountain biking to running, open fields to dense forests. Plus, even a crash or two.
