Joe Lynn Turner (born Joseph Arthur Mark Linquito, August 2, 1951) is an American singer, known for his works with hard rock band Rainbow. During his career, Turner fronted pop rock band Fandango, had the short-lived collaboration for neoclassical metal guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen and Deep Purple. From the mid-1990s, he worked with various musical groups (progressive rock band Mother’s Army, funk rock duo Hughes Turner Project, Rated X (based on Mother’s Army), and AOR side project Sunstorm, etc.) while pursuing a solo career. LYRICS: Living on the wrong side of town Can´t get up they knock you down Dead end street, no where to go Sweat and struggle everyday Feel your life just fade away Break your heart and steal your soul It´s aways dark before the dawn But you’re the reason that I can´t go on Someday all our dreams will find us Gonna leave the world behind us With a little help from heaven above We’re always gonna be together Cause we believe in forever Baby you and I got the power of love.
