Man Pulled from Burning Truck by Heroic New Jersey Troopers

It was a race against the clock to save a truck driver from a fiery crash on a New Jersey interstate. State Trooper Robert Tarleton was in the middle of a traffic stop when an explosion cut the interaction short. He hopped in his patrol car and raced down the interstate in Bridgewater Township. A vehicle was in flames and another trooper, Lieutenant Edward Ryer, was already on scene trying to pull the driver out. ’s Mara Montalbano has more.
