Centerfold was a Dutch all girl band from the 1980’s. The original line-up was: Laura Fygi, Rowa Moore and Cecilia de la Rie. With the release of their first single “Bad boy“, the three ladies made a spicy photo session in the Playboy. Centerfold quickly became a household name due to her sexy image. This is because the ladies often performed in lingerie or miniscule clothing. Various radio and television appearances at home and abroad were the result including the performance in Toppop. The subsequent single ’Pump it up’, written by Michael and Danny Sembello, was the first TROS Parade record of 1985 on Hilversum 3 on Thursday 3 January. The record became a modest hit and only reached the Tip Parade and the Tip 30 of the National Hit Parade. ’Dictator’ was the first big hit for Centerfold, reaching #6 in the Dutch Nationale Hitparade.
