What to do when you wake up to a pimple #shorts

🩹 Previously when I got breakouts on my skin, I would pop it soon as there was something to pop. And over half the time, I couldn’t get the right angle on it so my skin to get anything out so my skin would just be irritated. ⁣⁣ Then, I would alternate between putting a dot of tretinoin and a strong spot treatment on the pimple, hoping that using the strongest products in my skincare arsenal would help heal the breakout faster. But it only ended up drying out my skin and compromising my barrier in that area where I had a breakout. ⁣⁣ And due to my weakened barrier, it would take so long for the breakout to fully heal and the remaining dark spot to go away. It would become an unnecessarily long one or two week ordeal. ⁣⁣ Now, since I use Salicylic Acid (2 mornings/wk) and Tretinoin (4-5 nights/wk) regularly in my routine to manage my acne and for the most part, I only break out when I eat dairy, which isn’t too bad because I understand what triggers
