Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Last Flight Metal Detecting Recovery

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Last Flight Metal Detecting Recovery is our latest video where we recovered relics from the best classic rock band in Southern Rock history. The flight went down on October 20, 1977 and took with it Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, and assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick. It would be remiss to not remember the pilot and co-pilot who lost their lives in this tragedy, as well. Lynyrd Skynyrd had multiple hit southern rock classics such as Free bird, Sweet Home Alabama, and Tuesday’s Gone. ⚠️ At the request of the landowner, we are to advise anyone attempting to trespass on this site WILL be arrested. It is posted property and it is monitored by cameras at all times. ⚠️ We recovered multiple relics and coins related directly to the plane as well as items that may have been used by the band. During this dig, we used Minelab Equinox 800 detector and CTX 3030 metal detector to recover items that haven’t been seen since that evening.
