US launches missiles towards Houthi targets in Yemen from warship

The US launched a series of missile strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen. These strikes are the latest in a joint US-UK series of strikes against the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in the past month. The Houthis, who control vast swathes of Yemeni territory, have been attacking civilian warships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in protest against Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
