Stairway to Heaven solo, if it were written by Pink Floyd. So I figured I had to do something with the dissonance like in ’Shine on you crazy diamond’ in the intro. Some other techniques like the double bend, pre-bend, double stops and the chromatic walk-down is what I had in mind while working out a solo for this one. The speed of the song was the difficult part. I slowed it down by a few bpm to fit the Pink Floyd style a bit more, but that definitely was tricky. Effects used are: - Polara Reverb - TC Electronics Flashback delay - Fulltone OCD overdrive - Boss BD-2 Bluesdriver - Boss CE-5 Chrous Ensemble The backing track consists of electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums and a tape organ.
