Night Rose by Ronn McFarlane - world premiere performance!

Happy to share the video of Night Rose, a Nocturne by the great lutenist Ronn McFarlane This piece was commissioned by the Baltimore Classical Guitar society, and was premiered by Ronn and Matt during their Spring 2021 concert season. The guitar is a replica of La Leona made by Michael Thames. “Night Rose” is my first composition for guitar and lute. It’s a Nocturne, written in the Romantic style. I’m grateful to Matt Palmer for his exquisite guitar playing on this video recording. And I’m grateful to the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society for commissioning this piece.“ - Ronn McFarlane
