Apparently, I do 🙃 Fun fact: I was invited to @TaylorSwift’s 1989 secret session at her house in LA and will never ever forget how magical it was to see her for the first time. She walked out with her iconic red lips, floated over to me and said something about watching my videos. I DIED. I CRIED. Just a year before, I was listening to RED nonstop to help me heal through heartbreak. That period of my life was emotionally wreckless and songs like “I almost do” and “Red” helped me process as I cried. I must have listened to those songs thousands of times. During the secret session, a small group of us were serenaded by Taylor in her living room, as her cats roamed about. It was unreal to be there in her home with her Grammy’s lining the walls. Her mom even brought out freshly baked cookies for us! 🍪 I couldn’t eat any bc they were chocolate chip unfortunately. Rap music was playing outside so that no paparazzi could hear her singing these new songs to us. I will never forget how special she made us feel. It’s been amazing to see how Taylor has continued to evolve no matter what anyone says about her. Her creativity, her strength, and her fearlessness to keep pushing (herself, the industry, boundaries) inspires me so much.
