Met Police barricade themselves in train station as pro-Palestinian protesters have sit-in protest

Tense scenes occurred this evening (November 4) when Met Police officers were forced to shut themselves into London’s Charing Cross train station to prevent pro-Palestinian demonstrators gaining access to the concourse - where a sit-down demo was taking place. The latest protest to take place in the capital attracted an estimated 30,000 marchers who gathered at Trafalgar Square, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Thousands of police were in attendance, many on mutual aid from forces in Wales and Scotland. This video is being exclusively managed by Newsflare. Email licensing@ or visit to license this video.
