Take Better Care of Your Shoes | 3 Places to Periodically Look

Periodically checking the bottoms of your shoes can be one of the best things you can do to prolong the lifespan of your shoes. I cannot tell you just how many customers come into our shop each week with holes worn completely through the heel pads worn completely through. Things like this can generally be fixed, but it can become costly if brought into your local cobbler too late. As I mention in this video, always check the toe area, the ball of the foot and the top lift (heel pad). These are the 3 areas that always wear down the fastest. If you think any of these 3 areas are becoming soft, wearing down close to the heel block (back of the shoe), or wearing down close to the welt (toe of the shoe); it’s time to bring the shoes in to your cobbler. Just like your car, repairs only become more expensive the worse they become. Want to have your shoes refurbished? Looking for the BEST shoe creams, soaps, waxes, brushes, shoe much more?
