This is the 1st version recorded live... Bobby puts his heart, soul, dance steps, and gospel sound into this popular rhythm and blues song. “Higher and Higher” was written in 1967 by Gary Jackson, Raynard Miner, and Carl Smith. The song was originally recorded by Jackie Wilson. Every copy of this video has faded colors and somewhat foggy. The colors are much better, but even though it’s been sharpened 100% and deinterlaced, it’s still not as crisp as I wanted it. I wanted more bass in the soundtrack, but the 1970 video baseline would not allow it without going flat.
