‘Ghost town with no soul’: Inside Karabakh after ethnic Armenians flee

Al Jazeera has gained exclusive access to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. The town square in Khankendi, also known as Stepanakert, is completely deserted. Nearly all of the estimated 120,000 ethnic Armenians living in the region, have fled to Armenia since Azerbaijan took control. Only a fraction have been left behind.
