Will THIS replace fossil fuels?

In this experiment see how carbon dioxide is given off by standard combustion and fossil fuels which leads to global climate change. Alternative energy sources, like hydrogen gas, do not give off carbon dioxide and can be generated by the reaction of aluminum in an aqueous base like sodium hydroxide. When the sodium hydroxide solution is mixed with aluminum, the aluminum is oxidized and hydrogen gas is released which can then be used as a fuel source. THIS EXPERIMENT IS DANGEROUS SO DO NOT TRY IT AT HOME. YOU COULD REALLY GET BURNED MULTIPLE WAYS (THE BASE AND THE FLAME).
