Ballerina Farm Grilled Mozzarella Sandwiches

Making fresh mozzarella, pesto and sourdough to make the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich. After making the sourdough and mozzarella, it was time to make the pesto. Here’s what I put in: 2 cups fresh basil 1/4 cup sharp white cheddar cheese 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil 1/4 cup pine nuts 3 cloves garlic peeled 1/4 tsp salt Ballerina Farm seasoning to taste Juice from 1/2 of lemon 🍋 Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more olive oil if necessary. For the sandwiches! Sourdough bread, fresh mozzarella and then your pesto.
