The Middle East after October 7th with Adi Schwartz

The Hamas war with Israel will have a large and long-lasting impact on the whole region from Iran to Egypt. What are the repercussions on Israel and the Palestinians? On the jihadi movement? On great power involvement? Adi Schwartz is a research fellow at the Misgav Institute and a postdoctoral fellow at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Focusing on the Arab-Israeli conflict, he is co-author of “The War of Return: How Western Indulgence of the Palestinian Dream Has Obstructed the Path to Peace“ (Macmillan, 2020), which was partially funded by the Middle East Forum Education Fund. Mr. Schwartz holds a BA from Tel Aviv University, and an MA and PhD in political science, both from Bar Ilan University.
