Giant deep-sea isopod swims away

We found this little guy hanging out on the sea floor while conducting a video survey of the abyssal plain near Montserrat. Bathynomus are the giant deep-sea relatives of the pillbug (woodlouse, roly-poly). The two red dots are from lasers mounted on the ROV and are 10 cm apart.
