For this demonstration on leather material I am using a heavy duty Durkopp&Adler 268-FA-273 sewing machine. The big foot was especially designed for this purpose. It has a blade as a guide in its center that follows the groove left by first closing seams. The two needles were graduated at a distance of 10 mm between them. The lenght of stitches are 6 mm. The first sample in black leather shows a seamles french stitching that could be used for armrests, consoles and dashboards giving a flat appearance.
