FLOWERS IN THE RAIN (acoustic demo) by the Move featuring Carl Wayne and Roy Wood

Flowers in the Rain is a song by the sixties UK rock band The Move. The song was released as a single and reached number 2 in 1967 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 4 in Ireland. It was written by Roy Wood. This acoustic demo features just vocals by singer Carl Wayne and acoustic guitar by Roy Wood (who sings the middle eight). The sound they get with such a stripped back production is fantastic and is indicative of what a great song it is. It is available on their Anthology 1966-1972. I have put together a slideshow for this song featuring mainly images of Carl Wayne and Roy Wood. . Comments are invited.
