To celebrate, here’s a special video of Battotai! “抜刀隊“ (referred to as “Battotai“) was composed in 1912 for the Imperial Japanese Army, and is now widely used by the Japan Self-Defense Force and other Japanese forces. The song is a reference to Sword-Bearing Troops (aka Battotai) used during the 1877 Satsuma Rebellion. I do not represent any of the ideologies, countries, or religions shown on this channel.
