I think this song is pretty impressive - not only because it’s a bop and super interesting to listen to (I love songs that surprise me and don’t follow any stiff patterns) but because it transports a really strong message. In my perception it teaches us to listen to, accept and be grateful for our past (dark as it may be), our inner demons who will always be there but don’t define who we are or who we want to be. My character also wishes to discard her demon half for good at times but without it she wouldn’t be who she is today, she probably wouldn’t even be alive.
