Non Est Deus - Thousand Years of Sand (Fall of Babylon / Intolerance 1916 TRIBUTE)

A superb track from Non Est Deus set to selections of the Babylonian segment of the legendary 1916 silent film Intolerance, directed by D. W. Griffith. The ancient “Babylonian“ story (539 BC) depicts the conflict between Prince Belshazzar of Babylon and Cyrus the Great of Persia. The fall of Babylon is a result of intolerance arising from a conflict between devotees of two rival Babylonian gods: Bel-Marduk and Ishtar. The album Legacy (2023) by Non Est Deus is available on Bandcamp, Enjoy the tribute!
