Israeli tanks storm into Gaza in ’rolling start’ to a full-scale invasion

ISRAELI tanks and troops stormed into Gaza last night to battle Hamas in a “rolling start“ to a full-scale invasion. On Saturday 28 October, footage of Israeli tanks in Gaza was released by the IDF, claiming its ground forces had entered the enclave. The north of the tiny Palestinian enclave was relentlessly blitzed by airstrikes and artillery under the cover of darkness as power and communication were cut off for millions. Israel is seeking to destroy the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas after they killed - and in many cases butchered - 1,400 men, women and children on October 7. Some 300,000 troops have been massed by the IDF since the massacre and columns of armoured vehicles have encircled Gaza over the past few weeks, in preparation for the ground offensive that has been launched overnight.
