Building a dome - Part 1

This is my DIY dome build. The dome is home made with cheap Vapor Barrier and PVC Conduit. The dome is 16 feet wide and 8 feet high. Big enough for a 12 to maybe 15 feet above ground swimming pool. I’m installing my 12 feet swimming pool next week, I’ll make a video about that and the dome around it. Plastic I used is Vapor Barrier from the hardware store, very cheap one. I use Parchment paper for soldering the plastic with a Heat Wood Carving tool, the one I’m using is a Weller WSB25WB with the largest tip in the kit. The Weller Tool is the same as a 25 watts solder iron. Posts are made with 1/2 inch PVC electric conduit. I’m afraid I should have go with the 3/4 inch format, but we’ll see how it does when the dome is in use. It is foldable and folding is very easy.
