This time, they have added the metal to folk metal. Their roots and influences of Swedish death metal and their love of heavy and power metal is weaved together with enchanting folk melodies and pagan choirs to create their own unique sound once again- all sung in their native Swedish, as always.    “The video recording was as dramatic as the video captures it. We brought ourselves and the instruments in the middle of nowhere and played some metal music. Good times!“ / Grimner The lyrics tell about Tor fighting the gigantic Midgard serpent, Jörmungandr, living in the ocean and encircling our world. This is a very adventurous song, and it smoothly takes you through joyful parts that merges with heavy evil sounds. It is as epic as it is a hell of a dark one. We have always known Grimner for having a very mixed style of folk and metal, but they probably took it to a new level with this one. The crisp and fresh new sound of this album really makes you hear what Grimner is all about. Thrashing guitar riffs, the mix of powerful clean and harsh vocals, pounding drums, all mixed with beautiful and distinct flutes and other folk instruments make for an atmosphere that fits the tales of the old Norse gods and folklore alike.
