Re:Zero Season 2 Ep 11 OST - What If It Was a Full Track? (Orchestral/Dubstep)

A Orchestral / Dubstep Remake of the OST Taste of Death played in Re Zero Season 2 Episode 11 (yes I know I made a mistake in the title...). EDIT: The official name is deceptive music box ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi there! First of all sorry for the long time without uploading here, life has been very busy this past month and a half so I barely had time to work on covers which is one of my favorite things to do honestly. So, as you can probably tell the main melody from this track is from the spooky ost that was played at the end of the last week’s episode (ep 11) of Re Zero. That scene left me with a wierd feeling and a few days later I decided to rewatch the episode. On my second watchthrough I finally noticed how cool the track actually was (the first time seing emilia and subaru like that took away all my attention) and In the end I came up with the idea of making a full track out of that little melody and well this is the result. I started going into orchestral at first (I guess subconciously a bit inspired by the Harry potter soundtrack), but then it seemed that it sounded too pretty compared to how creepy the scene really was. And that’s when the dubstep idea came to mind. Wierd, I know. But I make this stuff for fun so why not? So I feel like that made the track a bit dirtier and unexpected. Also added a bunch of cassette and vinyl effects to mimic the original vibe a bit. On a more general note, I swear this season of Re Zero has been mindblowing so far. I honestly didn’t expect much from this show considering how hard it must be to come up with fresh ideas in such a story. I really thought that after some time it would just get repetitive and that it would never reach that hype the first season had... But boy was I wrong. Season 2 has been at least on the same level as the first or even better. By far the anime of the season in my opinion. This is actually the craziest loop Subaru has been in so far and I love how dark and uncertain everything is. The problems are everywhere: the mansion, Roswal, Garfield, echidona and satela, emilia loosing it, the cute little rabbits... I’m gonna keep it spoiler free but oh boy those rabbits... That scene was the darkest sh·t I’ve seen in anime for a very long time. Anyways I’m gonna go watch that episode 12 now. Thanks a lot for watching and I’ll see you next time!
