Restoration of the Rusty SWORD — The OTTOMAN EMPIRE

Hello folks! Restoration of a sword damaged by the Ottoman Empire. The sword is missing about 10-20 cm. The handle is ruined. I think someone wanted to fix it, and then abandoned this idea, leaving a sword in a damp place. Well, I’ll fix it. We proceed to the restoration of the blade. The most difficult and long of it was the restoration of the handle. I managed to dismantle it, clean it of rust and reattach it to the ball despite all the difficulties. I did not change or sharpen the sword blade itself, because the item will be sent to a private museum after restoration. Also, I cleaned the blade, but left the old look. I made a new scabbard, glued the scabbard with thin leather and made a simple metal hardware for the scabbard. As usual, I conducted a test for the quality of the handle design - everything is fine!
