Sanshou

In China over the past decades, a new type of martial art has been rapidly developing - SANDA: a free fight technique in Wushu. SANDA is a full contact martial art that uses basic wushu techniques combined with such “shocking“ systems as boxing and kickboxing. Modern SANDA is a highly effective form of martial arts, orienting the fighter to fight in a tough offensive manner. In this film, Chinese masters introduce the SANDA technique. The following material is suggested for study: 1. Vulnerable points of the body. Attacks on vulnerable points. 2. Exercises for developing percussion technique: - strikes in static and in motion; - a series of offensive strike combinations; - a series of attacks to the head, body of the leg, a series of examples. 3. Grip options. Combinations of grabs and punches. A series of examples. 4. Variants of defenses and counterattacks in case of sudden attacks and attacks with edged weapons. 5. Sparring exercises.
