Mrs Large: Well myself, I think they have done their very best as far as things are concerned, but if only workmen didn’t strike so much, striking for this and striking for that, things would be so much better.’ Parsons: And what is your solution to help the situation.? Mrs Large: Well, for the workmen to do their share. I mean the Government does their share. With the rationing, I think the rationing of food is quite/the correct thing to do, because the rich would get everything and the poor nothing.
