just found a song i used to jam too all the time and it was the first time i really felt a “wave of nostaglia“ as people describe and its weird bcuz not much has changed since then (its only been like 1-2 years since) but somehow that added to the mind-melting sweet feeling i found my younger self crying 😿, i crew too 😿, we both crode 😿 i was originally gonna go into a much longer diatribe about how the cyclical nature of internet trends ties into this (revival of things like fall guys, cyclical nature of breaking bad memes, random ’counter-culture’ characters which people treat as interchangable and “““based“““) but whatever i leave it as an exercise for the reader
