Slava Zima - Sviaty Kamien’

The Sviaty (sacred) stone lies in the forest, not far from the Sviatoje (sacred) lake by the village of Dubiani, Barysau region. The old legend says that the village went under the ground and on its place a lake got formed. According to the story, the Sviaty stone is a woman with child, that turned into rock. People still come to visit the stone, just as earlier: they pray, leave an offering (coins, flowers, sweets). In the nearby village there are sacrificial cloths being tied to a tree. This track, just as the video footage, came to life quite suddenly while we were removing fallen trees and twigs from the Sviaty stone and the area around it after the winter. They were made being inspired and profoundly effected by the place and its energy Святы камень знаходзіцца ў лесе ў ваколіцах Святога возера каля вёскі Дубяні Барысаўскага района. Старое паданне распавядае, што ў даўнія часы вёска правалілася пад зямлю і на яе месцы ўтварылася возера. Паданне кажа, што Святы камень - гэта скамянелая жанчына з дзіцём. Як і раней, людзі прыходзяць да валуна, моляцца, пакідаюць ахвяраванні (манеты, кветкі, цукеркі). Побач на дрэве завязаны ахвярныя ручнікі.
