47 goats quarantined after goatherd tests COVID positive in Karnataka

Forty-seven goats were swab tested and quarantined after a goatherd in Karnataka tested positive for COVID-19. The incident took place about 127 km from Bengaluru in Godekere village. District and veterinary officials visited the village and collected swab samples before putting the livestock in quarantine. The village has around 300 houses and a population of 1,000.
