President Biden delivers remarks in Valley Forge, PA marking the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Included in his remarks he says of January 6th, “It was on that day that we nearly lost America, lost it all. Today we’re here to answer the most important of questions; is democracy still America’s sacred cause? This is not rhetorical, academic or hypothetical.“ He also says of Donald Trump, “Hear me clearly, I’ll say what Donald Trump won’t; political violence is never ever acceptable in the United States political system. Never, never, never. It has no place in a democracy. None.
