One Day in Stalingrad (Volgograd), Russia ☭🇷🇺

In this video, I visit Volgograd City (formerly Stalingrad between 1925–1961) for one day during my recent solo journey, travelling 4,000 km across Western Russia. Volgograd, formerly Stalingrad, is a city in southwest Russia, on the western bank of the Volga River. It was the site of WWII’s Battle of Stalingrad, commemorated by a huge statue, The Motherland Calls, part of the hilltop Mamayev Kurgan memorial complex.
