Obsession was a two-player game requiring both strategy and luck. The TV commercial features two people sitting outdoors playing through all four seasons with the tagline, “It’s habit forming.“ Obsession was part of Mego’s “Mind Flex“ line of games. It was also apparently released under the Marx brand with the tagline, “The Game You Can’t Get Enough Of!“ Players would roll 2 dice, moving either their own rings forward, or their opponent’s rings backward. Rings in the Safety Zone can’t be moved by your opponent. Game ends when one player has 10 rings in the Safety Zone or at the top of his area.
