GAME RECAP: Penguins at Devils () | Crosby Scores One-Timer

The Pittsburgh Penguins were hosted by the New Jersey Devils Sunday afternoon. Less than a minute into the game, Devils forward Jack Hughes struck first. Minutes later, the Penguins Caption Sydney Crosby ripped a one-timer from the blue line and tied the game at 1 each to end the 1st period. The 2nd would be a quiet period with no goals. The Penguins would dominate the second half of that period, keeping the Devils to only two shots on net. They took that momentum right into the 3rd period. The back-and-forth play started the 3rd period without a whistle for the first seven minutes. But, for the third time in four games, the Penguins went into overtime. On a 2-on-1, the Penguins would score, but the referees quickly called off the goal and assessed a too many men penalty to the Penguins. The Devils took advantage of this opportunity, with Dougie Hamilton ending the game in overtime on the power play, 2-1. SUBSCRIBE to be among the first to see new Penguins content by clicking here:
